Did somebody ever tell you not to keep your bag on the right seat of your car while driving? If you didn’t believe that was bad, I can give you one more reason to avoid it: sudden brakes can teach your bag to fly, thus destroying whatever you may have inside. This is how I managed to test an awesome bag yesterday: I had my iPad in the Scout Extra Small Messenger bag which looks very similar to the one here: http://i.padaccessories.info/scout-extra-small-ipad-messenger-bag/ , but I forgot to put the bag in the trunk as I usually do, so I left it on the right seat, thinking that it won’t be a big deal for only 30 minutes of driving. Actually it took only a few minutes until I saw my Scout bag flying and hitting the car dashboard.
The funny thing is that it didn’t happen because of a brake, but because I didn’t brake in time. The car in front of me stopped out of the blue, I was day dreaming a little, so when I noticed that it was a bit too late – I was already about to hit it.
Which I did.
I’m well, thanks for asking. So is my iPad. I can’t say the same about the car, but I’ve got insurance for that one, so I’ll have it fixed soon. The point is that I managed to save my iPad’s life, thanks to the wise decision to buy a padded bag for it and not use a regular purse. I warmly recommend the Scout bags, they are really protective and they look cool. I found a photo for you, so you can see it for yourself:
Do you have an iPad bag you’ve tested and wish to recommend? I’d love to hear from you.

When people buy a laptop, they are usually inclined towards buying also a dedicated computer bag. That’s understandable, because those bags feature special compartments, protective padding and lots of pockets for various computer accessories such as mouse, web camera or speakers.
However, regular bags can also be used for carrying your laptop around. For today, I’ve chosen to show you a few Coach laptop bag ideas, in case you are tempted to give this option a try. If you want some briefcase style bags, you can check out this website: http://www.caprobags.com/coach-laptop-bags/
This Coach Op Art Glam bag is large enough to host a small laptop or a netbook. It’s cute, I think.
Coach Poppy Spotlight: very similar to the previous bag, this one can also be a good choice.
Coach Waverly Swingpack: this is probably too small for laptops, but netbooks or an iPad would fit just fine inside.
What do you think? Do you know more Coach bags that can be used for carrying a laptop?

Here are a few nice iPad case images I found:
iPad Case

I ordered a great and simple iPad case off of etsy, but it needed a bit of modification since the button was up against the glass, so I rotated and re-attached the leather strap so it closes at the top, and now it’s extra easy access in my bag. It wasn’t very hard to do this and now I’m totally happy with the outcome.
Another iPad Case that looks interesting:

iPad 64 GB Wi-Fi with the case. I like it because it’s so simple and stylish.

Laptop Bag and Mobile Kit

Here’s a comparison of my laptop bag and my mobile kit. Most mobile professionals would take something the size and weight of the bag on the left around with them on a daily basis. I am able to do just about everything I need to using the kit on the right, which is small enough to fit into the spare space in the front pocket of the laptop bag (next to the mouse and power cord for the laptop, and all my pens and paraphenalia that are also in there).
Each square on the mat is 2cm wide.
[96/365] New Laptop Bag

I’ve been looking for a new laptop bag for quite a long time now but I finally found one I liked whilst I was casually drooling over the iMacs on the online Apple Store. Due to the whole impulse thing, I bought it and it arrived today! It’s got a custom 13″ MacBook space which is already padded and protected meaning there is no need for my neoprene skin. There is also a custom iPhone pocket but it’s inside the bag under the straps meaning it’s not particularly accessible if someone calls. In addition, it’s very well padded so the iPhone sits very tightly in it which is great for protecting it but not so good if you want to get it out quickly. I’ll probably use it when I’m on a plane or something though.

I felt like being comfortable but I didn’t want to wear jeans and a t-shirt, so I came up with this smart casual outfit:
The ‘Glow’ Room

How cool is that? The bag looks so small compared to all that stuff that was inside.

What’s In My Bag (Pt.2)

I decided to take one of those "what’s in my bag" shots again. It’s been months since my last one. I got a new Coach bag at the Fashion Outlet in Primm, NV two weeks ago and it was a good buy for less than 84 dollars. The contents of my bag, however, remains pretty much the same with an exception of a few items.

It’s little (6" wide x 10" high x 2" deep) and it’s red and it’s cute.
I’m glad we stopped for this sale — it was late, there was nearly nothing on the table, and we were hot. But I saw a little red bag and MVG agreed to pull over so I could check it out.
